2004 FEDERAL LEAGUE MVP & CY YOUNG BALLOTS

MVP RULES:

• MVP balloting is done in the style followed by the BBWAA. You'll compile a list of 10 guys, ranked from 1 to 10, for just your league.
• Your first-place guy will get 14 points, 2nd will get 9, 3rd will get 8, etc., 10th will get 1.
• A list of worthy candidates for your consideration follows below, but you can vote for ANY player in your league. You will, however, be restricted to considering only those stats that players compiled in your league (not for the full season, if a player split time between the two leagues).
• Postseason stats don't count.
• Pitchers can be considered for MVP votes.
• No split votes.
• Feel free to use whatever criteria you think is best. Some think players with the best stats should be given the most weight. Some think players from championship teams should be given more weight, and players from bad teams less. Some think defense should be considered. Some think pitchers should never be on an MVP ballot. None of these philosophies are right or wrong. Vote your conscience. 
• Full ballots will be revealed at the time of the announcement, so any of you blatant "homers" out there can incur the wrath of your colleagues when you stack the ballot with five guys from your team.
